Palace Golf Fest 09

In conjunction with the Asia Pacific Golf Summit, the region’s premier industry gathering, Palace of the Golden Horses organized the Palace Golf Fest, where you can indulge your passion for the sport with a veritable gala of activities. A fabulous new opportunity for seeking additional avenues, networking, exploring prospects for new business and discovering great products, the Palace Golf Fest  was the first-of-its-kind golf exhibition.
Games and activities during the Golf Fest includes a Putting Challenge, a Guess the Ball contest, an opportunity to explore your chipping skills and walk away with gifts, countless freebies, free tips from Academy Professionals, and special rebates and product highlights for the Palace Golf Fest ,featuring equipment and apparel from numerous renowned industry brands such as Taylor Made, Nike Golf, LPGA, and Adidas Golf.
On top of this exciting activities, guests were entertained with lively and energetic performances by our resident band The Mystiqu, daily through out the fest
And one of  the highlights of Palace Golf Fest, Golf legends Gary Player and Peter Thomson made a special appearance during the Golf Fest, with a special autograph session. Keen golfers had the opportunity to learn from the industry’s finest athletes. An international athlete with 50-plus years of global travel and a career Grand Slam Winner, Gary Player recognizes that Asia is a major player in the golf industry today. The owner of a self-named design company, Gary Player Design, the legend wanted to use his experience and expertise in the industry to continue to contribute to the development of championship golf across the continent.
The Palace Golf Fest  was held at Le Marquee, one of the largest outdoor canopied venues in Malaysia from 24-28 October, from 11.00am – 8.00pm.

A special tribute  and gala dinner to another golf legend, Jack Nicklaus , were held at the Royal Ballroom attended by all the golfers, corporate guests including the founder of Palace of the Golden Horses, Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew.
