CHEQUE PRESENTATION TO THE LIFESPRING CHILDREN’S HOME

As part of Palace of the Golden Horses’ Corporate Social Responsibility programs, the hotel organized its annual Christmas Charity Campaign ‘Wish Upon A Star’ through-out the month of December 2008. The charity initiative was aimed to help the local orphanage and under-privileged children at surrounding the community of Seri Kembangan area. For last year, The Lifespring Children’s Home in Seri Kembangan was given the privileged whereby all the proceeds from the donation collected from hotel corporate guests and in-house customers benefited this home. Found by Ms Santha Mary who was also our former Housekeeping Coordinator, the home provides shelter for 20 abandoned, abused and neglected children since year 2005.

The hotel team headed by our Director of Food & Beverage – Eusebiuss Samm accompanied by a few other department heads handed over the donation cheque worth RM 9,185.15 to Ms Santha Mary. The hotel also treated the children with goody boxes of chocolates, pralines and fruits before leaving the home.
