Charity Buka Puasa with Rumah Nur Hikmah (RNH)

In the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, Palace of the Golden Horses takes this special occasion to host a charity and community event for the under-privileged.

Held on Friday, 11 September 2009 at Unity Ballroom, this worthy-cause event is a joint-effort with Nestle Products Sdn. Bhd. to together render contribution for those in need and benefit the children of Rumah Nur Hikmah (RNH) in Kajang. Also attended this year’s Charity Buka Puasa is our invited guest YBhg Datin Seri Normala Shamsudin, one of Malaysia’s top TV icons and celebrities.

The Hari Raya contributions for the RNH were presented by Ms. Dianna Lee, General Manager of Palace of the Golden Horses, YBhg Datin Seri Normala Shamsudin and Puan Pauziah Mohamed, Sampling & Event Manager of Nestle Products whereby the children and single mother each received Hari Raya goodies from Nestle as well as packets of Duit Raya.

50 orphans children aged 2 to 17 years old of RNH establishment and invited guests were treated with a sumptuous Buka Puasa Buffet with traditional and Malay foods such as Ayam Masak Merah, Lemang and Rendang Tok, Sayur Lodeh and Kari Ketam Pulau and delectable selection of Dates and Raya Cookies, selection of Ice Cream Scoop and Popcorn are among the Buka Puasa delicacies specially prepared by our award winning chefs.

On top of that, some of the performance held that night was a group performance by the children of RNH where they perform a prayer and spiritual songs and also a special singing performance of Hari Raya songs by Palace of the Golden Horses’s resident artistes – the staffs of MICE Department.
